I downloaded Gimp - the alternative to photoshop. I couldn't even get an image to work on because Gimp uses file format XCF and i couldn't work out a way to change the file format on my computer. I tried opening an image in Photoshop and save it as an XCF, but there was no option to do so, instead i changed it to DICOM format and then tried to open it in Gimp, but it wouldn't work! I don't have alot of patience when it comes to these things!
I will try again later!
Ok now we are happenning - i opened the photo in Preview and changed it to GIF format, then in Gimp I changed the preference to GIF and it worked! I thought it would and thank fully it did, otherwise I would not know what on earth to do next.
After having a bit of play with the program - clicking on the button, trying new things and not really getting what I would like to see, I am frustrated by this software!
